A piece of cake is easy to make.
Even the icing is no mistake.
Any one can make a mix.
It so easy: cake to fix.

A piece of pie is something else.
You just can't pull it off the shelf.
You stew the fruit until it's just,
or make a pudding if you must,

and then it's time to roll the crust,
and bake it till the bubbles bust.
But it takes time and it takes skill:
you do it wrong and you will kill

five hours of your time, I guess.
So which one do you like the best?
