she drank the wine as she sat at the bar
her hair was sparkling her eyes were darting in the light
she crossed her legs as she was watching stars
as I was falling down into her midnight
she was like a dream too good to true
she looked at me and I thought that I saw
something inside that was breaking all the laws in me
the kind of woman you are full of awe
I had to act or I'd always regret what could have be
she was like a dream too good to true
and I didn't know just what to do
should I go up to her and ask her her sign
should I ease on in and take my time
and get to know her
try to be cool and have fun
even though my heart was all run run and run
she smiled at me that's a place to begin
a thousand mile from my table over to her chair
if you don't play then you can never win
and when she laughed then I knew I was halfway there
she was like a dream too good to true ....
and when she kissed me I couldn't conceive
I thought such women were only a myth
I was so lucky I couldn't believe
that I had found someone I instantly connected with
she was a dream too good to true
and I was floating up into the blue
sometimes you just have to take a chance
otherwise you will never find a true romance
tomorrow I will call her
and ask her out some more
and maybe we can make it
if this is all my heart I'll break it
and maybe this is something
that can be
reality....
