golden color over all
the leaves are all turning
as if they were burning
red brown and gold
the new on fire with the old

as I walk the ancient streets
lookin in the eyes I meet
wondering if I'll find the one
who will bring a new born sun
is she a dream I once had
someonw who could make me glad
there must be a moment right
when the day turns into night
