I only get a little lost without you
a little lost
the road back home
is like something unknown
the face I see inside the mirror
is a face I never knew
the people on the street
are strangers that I've never seen before
the sidewalk is mountain trail
and I fail
to recall the numbers on my own front door
a little lost
I can't remember what it was you said to me
a little lost
I can't bring up the tune that was our favorite melody
I have no memory
of what was love or how much the pain has cost
my heart is history
I'm just a little lost
maybe someday
I'll find a way to make it through and get across
to the other side of what I was again
but until then
I guess I'm just a little lost
