and then a being came to him

no one prevailing in the light

and so he said let me go

and then he said what is thy name
and he said Jacob here I am
then he renamed him Israel
the same name as the promised land

for as a prince now has the power
the power with both God and men
but he, he would not give his name
and blessed him and left him again

so if you see him face to face
if you see him on the road
you must wrestle him for grace
though his name you'll never know

was it an angel was it God
was it something yet unheard
each must wrestle in the night
before we understand the Word
