compassion all encompassing in its acumen
you must recognize the sheer veracity
feeling definitions to be without feeling
trained to be concerned but maybe if they're not
various emotions imitate your wishes
take some satisfaction with what you got

if you care then maybe you need to be grounded
people will be happier for pity's sake
central more innate deliberate in movement
running down the alleyway you're much too late
communicate the fix if you can be discerning
you need more interaction to be happening
laugh yourself hysterical I guess you're learning
life is not worth living unexamining

Sympathy and empathy are truly different. I noticed that several artists have written songs entitled "Empathy." I do not want to discourage the title, it's just as far as searches go, you have competition from the likes of Alanis Morissette.
