THE NAKED MONA LISA song lyrics
by Joel Sattler

ten deep thus they have been
of thine old tinged antiquity
fantastic might be once more in
our own vampiric city

of her strange hands so modern little
perpetual in passion rings
in what she has wrought the middle
her maladies doth make her sing

a contemporary saint she sits
with her enigmatic smile
and cuts you into tiny bits
laughing all the while

oh my naked Mona Lisa
should I come or should I go
oh my naked Mona Lisa
what the hell I don't know

imaginate this only life
and certainly this is the day
never meant to be a wife
exquisite in each word you say

lust is only what can be
the perfume of the sea is blood
history a mystery
the last survivor of the flood

Leda and the swan in love
expressive all that is or was
the spirits falling from above
she know not what it is she does

oh my naked Mona Lisa
should I come or should I go
oh my naked Mona Lisa
what the hell I don't know

Eerily seductive. I would change, "her maladies doth make her sing," to "her malady doth from her sings," for a better rhyme.
