every day you play
the universe's light
visitor so delicate
in water flower white

you are like no one
that I've ever loved
I'll spread you out in yellow garlands
write your name above

and in letters made of smoke
among the southern stars
let me remind who you were then
before now what you are

suddenly the wind
howls up against the glass
the sky is only but a net
that holds the dark fish fast

the winds let go at last
at least that's what I know
soon or later comes to pass
the rain takes off her clothes

the birds go passing by
the wind the wind the wind
I can only only fight
against the stength of men

dark leaves swirl in storm
the wind gives out a cry
releasing all the fishing boats
the night tied to the sky

but you at last are here
you do not run away
you give an answer to my fear
as if you were afraid

however in your eyes
a shadow o so new
and now you bring me honeysuckles
scented just like you

and killing butterflies
the sad wind gallops south
and I am overwhelmed by love
and kiss your plum wine mouth

it hurt you to get used to me
my solitary soul
so wild my name would drive away
most anyone you told

the morning star so many times
we've seen it kiss our eyes
while overhead the twilight turns
lightening the skies

my words rained down upon you
stroking your soft skin
so long I've loved mother-of-pearl
your body made for sin

I think you own the universe
at least I guess what this is
I bring you bluebells from the mountains
baskets full of kisses

I want you to do to me
what flowers do to honey bees
I want to do to you
what spring does to the cherry trees
