I've met a man who claims to be a descendant, Bert Shakespeare, who deals horses and runs (or ran, it's a while ago and he was past the first flush of middle age then) a riding tackle shop near Stratford on Avon. You might encounter his ghost at The George in Southwark (south London) a sixteenth century galleried inn, that back in the day put on his plays in the courtyard.

The theories continue. But I saw a documentary that claimed that there was proof who Shakespeare was. Supposedly the nom de plume of a nobleman who for documented reasons that I forget did not want to be known as the writer of those works.
As far as where he is. Methinks that the stage has lost much in the time since those great plays were written.
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
contemporary social issues and gratitude for life.
