I would say yes, though some put the mask right back on.

My answer would be that anyone who has even a minimal
knowledge of Photoshop...might say that all mirrors (i.e.reflections),
can be bent, warped, skewed, stretched, etc. But then, where does that leave the 'substance' of some of us poets? Hee hee...
BTW...I enjoyed this poem immensely!

Those inverted sentences are not acceptable in modern poetry, so I think you should change this:

But spirit wisely her findings will wind
to

but wisely her spirit's findings will wind

and

Will mind, or spirit the truth unmask?
to this:

Will spirit and mind force the truth to unmask?

or something similar. You tend to invert the sentences to get the rhyme at the end. That's not a good thing to do. Actually, it's the reason so much modern poetry eschews rhyme and meter.

Otherwise, this is good. It's certainly a pertinent question in light of the state of the world today. Too many people are getting lost in rationalizing. The mind is particularly adept at avoiding and concealing unpleasant realities.

Sometimes our eyes only see the reflection they want too. Reguardless of what is really being displayed. Wonderful write Carmen. Lisa

But the irony is if 'the mind is substance' then maybe the reflection is just an illusion - created by the mind - for whatever purpose it desires - at the time.
