“Spirits Touched”
Within two ticks and a heartbeat
Two spirits touched
As I hear the ocean roar
Rumbling and rolling
Upon the shore
Reflecting your eyes
As they roll upon the shore
I hear brakes scream
The smell of tires burning
A cell phone ringing
But I don’t care
Through my eyes I see
The reflection of my soul thoughts deep
Gazing
Deep into the valley
Across the ocean I dwell
Thinking about you
Sending you my spirit… my thoughts
Tell me I am not dreaming
Cell phone ring again
This time I react
Is this my mind playing tricks
Or is this for real…
Can it be
Waited for the moment
Connection so deep
I turn my head away
I prefer the sun in my face…I said
As A tear
Runs down my face
Knowing
Two spirits touched
On the spur of the moment
Within two ticks
And a miss of
Another
Heartbeat
