"In Spirit"

In isolation you invite this heart to sing
And like the seas approach and return
We come back again and again
Like a free spirit of love
Love whispers to our hearts
Beautiful stories of love
All too willingly I go where you go
Your eyes seduce me to follow
Through the sands and tides of emotion
Trying to find the perfect spot
In the middle of the night
Where bodies feel at ease
And in full harmony
You do your job and I do mine
We get lost in time
But a sip of love… unfilled
Left us breathless in the dark
I hear the hush of the silent night
Memories stir now that I am alone
But I know…
My love you are near
In spirit… I know!!

Hmmm... this tastes gooooood... like something you just want to roll around on the tongue and savour for a bit, not quite being able to fathom what, in particular, is the "spot" it hits... probably just too many to mention! Esepcially love - and the punctuation probably isn't right here - Through the sands and tides of emotion Trying to find the perfect spot In the middle of the night Where bodies feel at ease And in full harmony..." Luscious! TY Kate xx
