Tempest Goddess

Sleepless nights
Deep thoughts within
A mild strain
With memories of a not so long
Forgotten pain.

Now the sun is tempting
To shine through
Bad dreams and sleepless night
Are no more
Mockingbirds singing happy songs
Praising the coming, of a new day.

Embracing nature
With The songs they played
I think of you,
The distance away from home.

Within my head,
we still dance
That waltz, that never ends
Fall is here, the days
Are still warm

Wild zephyrs cools my mind
Rays of sun caress my face
In the air, I can still taste
The sweetness of your tongue.

Your deep blue eyes
Like sapphires,
lost in tumultuous times
Guide,
This love of mine.

Gentle winds blowing
On silken golden hair
I dream, of a Tempest Goddess
Making love to me
As we create, the heavenly sounds
Of thunderous storms.

The Heart's Way by Rebecca McKeehan

Love is universal and not limited to the most perfect among us. In this collection of romantic short stories and poetry, love comes to those who are decidedly imperfect, who possess very real human flaws, scars, and challenges. Awaiting us as we are.
