On a pier, I gaze,
Mesmerized,
Seductive ocean waves,
Crashing, meeting sandy shores.
Like beckoning arms,
Of a woman, imagined,
Wanting, to embrace me,
Into her soft bosom.
Of gentle swells,
Hoping her seduction,
won't descend me,
Into hell.
Salty kisses,
On my face,
Feeling, gentle sprays,
From eastern gales.
Forming,
White cap sprays,
Cooling heat, from the sun,
Upon my face.
The horizon, afar,
Seems,
So tranquil, merging,
With the heavens above.
Clear blue sky,
No ships in sight, non sailing,
The horizon's way,
Just another, lovely day.
Gulls gently soar,
Diving silently,
Near fishermen,
At pier's end.
Such a beautiful day,
The Lord,
Has not, presented me,
In years, I've stayed away.

Thank you.

Tkanks for sharing this with me
to become with them one
To hear the oceans beat in the shells
to pick them up and save them a drying death from the sun
Ahhhhhh wonderful William, have me longing for the shore!
