Moonlight Serenade

Lovely night, for a walk, Along the beach, wetting our feet, By the surf, As we softly walk. I inch my hand, towards yours, A finger tip I feel, Like walking through, An electricity field. The touch was magic, I gently grasp, your tender hand, A soft squeeze, A glance, at your loveliness, Your hair flying in the breeze. The moon is full, her soft beams, Guide us, silently along the way, The surf's thunders, are muffled, By the soft winds. At a distance, you can hear a gentle voice, Serenading his love, Crooning a tune, Softer, than the beauty of the full moon. By: William Bonilla 10/09/02
