She was five
Very much alive
But a child without words
On life's on accords
Addicted to cake
Angel in the wake
Lent an idea to her lovng mother
Bundled it with brother and father
Set in motion a game
With all the guests the same
Their eyes with covers standing still
Waiting to be caught and kissed at will
Little did they know
And the family didn't show
She infused into her delight
After every catch in sight
With all having been caught
It was a photo she sought
With all the guest blinds down
Not knowing what their faces own
Before her shutter clicked
The angel's switch flicked
For once she smiled, snickered and laughed aloud
All her chocolate kisses made her happy and proud.
