A new place -
A new start...
My world has been changed.
The inner sanctum of my spirit has shifted,
the furniture has been rearranged.
A new flower blooms in a corner...
An unusual combination of prisms hang before
the windows of my soul -
shining; reflecting a world of colour
that I've never seen before.
Life goes on - but, not as it once did.
The rules have changed, there are
no boundaries anymore.
Ah, my soul breathes such a wonderful freedom!
Will you travel with me for a time?
If you don't care for the journey we are on,
it can be altered; that's the nice thing
about where my heart lives now.
Nothings says that it must go this way or that...
It just seems to go any way it cares to;
it feels so good.
Life and love are a paradox of so many things.
Peace, laughter, joy; hurt, tears, pain;
humility - serenity...
fitting together slowly.
A jigsaw that will take a lifetime to complete.
As each year in life passes, so another piece
of the puzzle is put into place,
until at last, we find ourselves looking at
a lifetime portrait of human love and pain.
Moulded into the sunset of our years,
destiny has created our fate...
As has fate been the master of our lives.
I need another, someone who can help
to put together this puzzle.
One who will care;
and when the portrait has been completed,
look upon it and perceive
the warmth of a thousand lifetimes.
