Poem Artwork

I'd like to say that I'm at ease, my comfort speaks in sighs
I'd like to sit and warm my form with visions of your eyes
I'd see the play of oceans; the waves of lifetimes spent
In deepened art emotion and palettes...rainbows sent
I'd see the pain and sorrow...reflected in the years
I'd spy into tomorrow...choke back the love and tears
I'd search for the pathways that'd give my thoughts to you
I'd relish all the singing from deeper love so true
I'd hold to all the happiness that fate has given thee
I'd be the one holding you there...as strong as an oak tree
I'd realize the dreams were real and right before your eyes
I'd kiss your lids , your nose, your lips and seal it with my sighs.

God's thoughts pre-born? Sounds beautiful. Lulls the mind in a whimsy grey dream and your picture to accompany it is spot on. Beautiful write. The best I've read on the Den today.

This is beautiful, absolutly beautiful,
I think the best compliment that one poem can give another is to readd their work and genuinly wish that you had written it yourself and with that thought in mind, I wish i had written that one.
Thank you for sharing it.

Susan

I think Richard, and in particular Fee have said it all for me..

The barely concealed yearning and desire is palpable in this scintillating write..

Belle-o-fantastico ...

My heart melted indeed, and I agree with Felix - this will capture the hearts of the readers.

Such a heart you possess, and such a gift you have for expressing what flows through that heart. You have my respect Susan.

This is an absolutely beautiful romance write that will capture hearts mine included as it is read. Very sweet and endearing write with just a touch of pining and yearning for what could or should have been.
