I am in numbers all Robin-egged speckled
I live in groups all splattered and tickled
In ochre's and browns, a little sienna
A tad of mahogany...even on bananas
I brighten the smiles and cheeks of my hosts
I glorify flesh tones with my happy boasts
The children with pinched cheeks in rosey abundance
Can smile with a splash of splattered on dalliance
A large one here and smaller right there
This one's shaped funnier than old Einstein's hair
The sun kisses some while birthing the others
Then tans cause some to merge with their brothers
Whoops! Maybe sisters... but in any case
They sing and dance all over my face
Some people hate them but for me its a factor
Its part of my makeup...so love me with character
I adore all my spots like a leopard with glory
My freckles are me amd that's another love story!
DELIGHTFUL!!! I was soooooooooooo green with envy when I was little... and, now I'm grown, I'm positively bottle-coloured, dying to host some of these darlin speckles... anywhere other than on the backs of my hands! Loud, proud and lively... like they should be! TY Kate xx
L o v e 'em polka-dots!! Seriously, this is great. Obvious that

So sweet and yes there is somthing special about girls with freckles that makes men want to just gather them in and smother them in hugs and kisses. Well done tribute to mother natures beauty marks.
As a kid I once tried to scrub them off with a stiff scrubbing brush. I also thought that eating vegetable soup gave you freckles so I avoided the stuff like the plague. Anyway, keeping with the theme of your poem, I finally signed a peace deal with my freckles - can you imagine how long that took with each freckle having to sign the concordat - and I also bowed the knee in surrender to vegetable soup - tasty actually!
An inspirational book about a unique world where trees hold intrinsic knowledge and powerful forces of energy. The group of students called the Planeteers demonstrate character building and not judge people base on their appearance, but judge them on
