All your empty acts of kindness are nothing but intrusions. We wonder why we're here: our unhappy conclusion. Begging you to show me love, putting feelings, emotions, aside because I know that with love effort never rests or subsides. Love desires happiness in the other through actions and affections. You desire to reassure me but there is no progression. Defacing the beauty of love I took to canvas too soon and realised God put on my palette three colours; not enough to bloom a masterpiece replica of what He made but I was so eager to begin all the beauty I once preached. I turned my love into sin. Studied the intricacies of a stroke neglected the desire result. This monster that I've made is my creation; my own fault. Using watercolours is risky but I was up for the task. Added too much water... my blank canvas is back. Copyright Brittany Renée 2004
