The morning chill woke me from my dreams
As always I went into my kitchen to brew some coffee
Giuseppe rubbed himself against my cold leg
It is his way to tell me he is hungary
Feeding him and drinking my breakfast was my way to start the day
I was thinking of a sweet lady I met the night before
She had written her phone number on my wrist
I looked at it for it was still ledgible
I copied it down on my note pad and smiled
She was so very sweet and pretty I thought
It was surprising I met her at a Veterans of Foreign Wars dinner and dance
She had been a Army nurse in the Vietnam war
She was in excellent shape and quite a dancer
Me being a slow dancer myself was in awe of her cha-cha moves
I liked the way she moved so close as we danced "Tender is the Night"
As we danced so closely not even knowing our first names
She whispered my name is Alba, what is yours my sweet friend
After replying Tony I squeezed her gently
I do not know why I did that except in the heat of passion
I felt a gentle charge in my whole entire excited body
I looked down down into her eyes as I often like to do
They were brown, piercing, and beautiful a mirror of her soul
The feelings of warmth and pleasure engulfed my mind and body
We now were looking straight into each others eyes
Simultaniosly we embraced with a lovers kiss of pure passion
I felt her tongue probe the inner feeling of my mouth
I grew into more excitement for it had been a long time since I held such beauty
Our lovers kiss ended to quickly because we were not alone
We walked to our cars and kissed again
There was so much much traffic around us forcing us to stop our kissing and love making
It was here that Alba wrote on my wrist
She wrote Remember Me and her phone number
And quickly entered her Honda Civic and drove off
And I, returned to my lonely home where Giuseppe greeted me
Now I wait for a few hours at the very least to reach out to Alba
Welcome back Tony

our Golden years away.......
