In My Solitude

In my solitude my thoughts of yesteryears bring back the lovers of my past

Blue eyes, brown eyes, emerald eyes, all were treated with my deepest respect

I wonder if any are still alive, I know of two who are

I can no longer reset my past, but I can control what future I have

Someone once told me I live under a blanket of blue

Meaning I live in torturous times

And maybe that was the case back then

Then I found GOD and his wonderments

He took me who was one step away from skid row

And transferred my life to Godliness

Yes I have my urges to sin, and perhaps I do on occasion

But I only hurt myself and no one else

I am forgiven for my transgressions
Several years ago while I was still writing here, I had a very serious meltdown

I attempted to end it all for myself

That did not happen, the Lord saved me through my daughter

I am a very fortunate man to have the Lords love along with his disciples
Now as an old man living with immense pain

I try to be a positive influence on everyone I come in contact with

There are a couple of non-believers who would love me dead

Both are on the internet, one guy was actually a top notch writer here

The other was a radical who would like to kill the president because his father was African

So believe me when I write this again, the Lord is with me so who could really be against me
