My world has parted into two half's

One half is a strict follower of Jesus Christ

The other half is a follower of death and the mystery of dying

My whole life is filled with temptation

I am tempted to drink scotch again, after at least five years of sobriety

I have a strong temptation to make love again, after at least ten years of celibacy

I have temptation to walk the streets early in the morning hours to protect the innocent

I really do not know if I can any more

I am constantly tired, both physically and mentally

I want to do what JESUS would do

Just to be in his good graces would be paramount for me

As of late I am putting all of my feelings on display

It is my way to speak with someone

If anyone is reading this please do not judge me harshly

I am a good man and trying to remain good

NONE OF US ALWAYS 'HITS THE MARK', TONY..."FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD", BUT AT LEAST...WE TRY AND THAT'S ALL WE CAN DO IS 'TRY', THUS, THIS IS WHERE THE BLESSINGS FROM ABOVE COMES IN...BECAUSE GOD CAN SEE AND KNOWS OUR HEARTS AND HE HONORS OUR SINCERE 'EFFORTS' TO DO RIGHT. STAY IN THE RACE, MY FRIEND AND DO THE BEST YOU CAN. LOVE AND BLESSINGS, THANKS FOR SHARING,

you are so correct Tony
temptations are everywhere
goodness too is also everywhere
especially inside our hearts
I think death releases us
I don't know if it releases us to goodness
or releases us into the pits of hell
some aspects of life are hard to appreciate
especially with the temptations
but as you are a good man
goodness surely will follow you & your thoughts
congrats on your sobriety Tony!!

May Your Spirit Find Tranquility
& May Your Inner Heart Smile

You will be good because you are good. You are good because of who you love and trust.

Tony you need to fight this temptations
If half of you is a follower of Jesus Christ
Then you know that those temptations will never win
Jesus lives within you!
Don't think of death
Have faith and i 'll be praying for you!
Wishing You Peace Love and Light...Yolie

Tony, I hope you will do whatever it is that is best for you. This writing says you are reaching out for supportive responses; I am not perfect, but I am always trying to achieve perfection. I hope you will regain control, and have a clearer look into your happiness. This writing is genuine, as always, and tells of the starkest reality you face daily. Enjoy life, Tony

All we can do is our 'best'. No more can be asked of any human than that. Facing your temptations takes a great deal of courage.

Dear Tony, Remember what Jesus said: "The one who has not fault may trow the first stone." Even if your temptation succeeds to turn your mind around, your heart stays clean. No one can judge you.
The importance is to survive to the end in this life on earth. Love Emile

Tony, no judgement from me, just encouragement to stay strong, believe in yourself and live only for this moment in time.

We are only human, Tony. And temptation comes too easyly at times. Remain strong in Jesus and God bless.
