This philosophical "Dick-idiom" concerns aging.

 

 
“DICK-IDIOM #74”
 
AGING
PHILOSOPHY
 
“Yeah, I’m definitely over the hill,
but it’s much like riding a bike.
 
Getting to the peak
is damn hard work,
but heading into the valley,
you get to coast.
 
Life has lots of peaks and valley’s
 
But fortunately,,,,
 
I’m a gifted coaster”

Coasting is a nice reward after the hard work of climbing that hill in the first place. AND it's even more fun to coast with someone by your side.
