Dick-idiom # 57 - Reality - Drinking

This philosophical "Dick-idiom" concerns drinking with a purpose. Some drink for pleasure, some, in an effort to recover from pain and still others, simply out of habit... (Don’t you find it perplexing when the summary is longer than the poem?)

 

 
“DICK-IDIOM # 57”
 
REALITY
DRINKING
 
“People sometimes drink.
Some drink for a reason,
some for no reason at all.
Some   don’t   drink,
but not many,
leastwise
not
i
n
this house.”

drinkers put the r in dink... this little poem makes me think... I'm with Fee on this one.

You know I hate to admit it but I truly drank far more than my share in my younger days...now I can a better buzz off people and laughter and just being around to still share it.

I only drink martinis when I'm serious, though I found myself reaching for a sip of those words - can you do a frosty mug of beer? Ha ha, that was a creative little idiom Dick.
