The mirror appeared from nowhere,
stand in front of it if you dare.
It had magical powers inside,
taking everyone on its mystical ride.
No one could resist its draw,
until it revealed an inner flaw.

Those of very negative traits,
would get a flash which truly dictates.
They would try to run,
but the mirror continued its stun.
Not only did it show,
it spoke truth also.

The mean selfish motivated,
tried to break the mirror situated.
It was unbreakable,
fixed in position stable.
The whole building was burned down,
the mirror stood sound,
had not even a burn,
the mean evil showed no concern.

Many years past by,
the mirror continued to defy.
Every bit of debris had been removed,
but the mirror couldn't be moved.
In an open space alone,
the mirror lived on.
Only the faithful at heart,
would visit the mirror in part.
The mean and evil stay away,
will not visit until this day,
afraid to face the truth it would say,
about the price they had to pay.

Visit the mirror if you dare,
face your true self there.
Try to change if you care,
or stay like you are,
your own shining
star.
