Do poets have to rhyme, not all the time? All roses are not red, every person has a different head. Life is full of rhyme and treason, some poets rhyme for reason. I rhyme because it's like playing a game, find a word that sounds the same.
It's entertainment to me, not all for others eyes to see. In the midst of my rain, rhyming relaxes my brain. I love great message in poetic expression, it doesn't have to be a rhyming lesson.
Some poems rhyme, some don't, Sometimes they do, at times they won't. Some poets rhyme, some won't, Sometimes they do, at times they don't.
it's a person's perogative if they want to rhyme or not. some of my earlier poems have absolutely no rhyming in them while others i have written (especially ones i have done lately) do have a lot of rhyme. the meter isn't so hot, but it is something i have to work on. LOL being a poet isn't as easy as it may appear; therefore, i will stick to stories! LOL
