I don't care what anyone says, life will always be a mystery to me. Shucks, at times I'm a mystery to myself. And when it comes to others, they are certainly a mystery. God is a mystery, but I have faith. This earth we live on is one of the biggest mysteries. Thousands of people dying at one time, seems like an unstable environment to me. My writing is a mystery, it seems to be a force calling me that I can barely resist. This poem is a mystery, something inside made me write it. It's kind of negative with a touch of positivity. Sobeit!
Here I exist in this mystery, a very small part of lifes history. Seems like a bunch of trouble, living in this earth bubble. Then there are the joys, sometimes they seem like only decoys.
We live only to die, in between we suffer and cry. Experiencing a little fun, is an experience very seldom done. Once we learn to live close to perfection, death comes to destroy the connection.
Knock, knock knocking on heavens door, give me as much joy as I can score. Laughing and smiling seems like an anedote, sink my ship but I want to float. I don't take much of life too serious, it's just to mind boggling mysterious.

It certainly is and you have captured those questions perfectly in your poem, Grady.
This earth we live on is one of the biggest mysteries.
I truly believe it is, Grady, and I also believe that no matter how advanced man may become, we will always be at the mercy of mysterious Mother Nature.

I was often asked the same question.
In formality they asked,
"Where do you want to be 5 years from now."
"Success! Ya dummy!"
I often answered them in my head.
It was a question of mystery,
and they always got an abstract answer.
...but they always continue to ask the dumb question.
