Happy gone sad,
joy that we had.
Glad gone mad,
knowing its been had.
Good gets in the way,
making it a sunshine day.
Things will go wrong,
sad is the song.
Right gets in the day,
brings joy back to play.
So we appreciate the nice,
unthaw the ice.
On a cold day freezing,
love warms pleasing.
No use being in a rut,
when bad can be cut.
Comfort comes with a price,
we pay less when we're nice.
