Love awaits,
while hate dictates.
Hate is super easy,
don't take much thought
to be sleazy.
Love on the otherhand,
requires greater demand.

Attitudes prevail,
the devil sets us up for hell.
Quite a few give him his due,
especially when they're
sad and blue.
When others do us mean,
and we're short on green,
we get angry as hell.
It's much easier to fail.

The fall goes straight to heart,
then hate takes its start.
Love awaits in the background,
to help lift us from our down.
Those who truly love themselves,
kick hate off their shelves.
They get kinder,
to help remove the devils blinder.
As long as he keeps us blind,
he totally controls our mind.
If we remain under the devils spell,
we're doomed for hell.
