Or our best friend, it all depends on the person, whether things will worsen...

Our worst enemy is the head,
the one that produces what's said.
It knows all our fears,
harasses us over the years,
either holds back or flows tears.
It knows our weaknesses and strengths,
even our tolerance in lengths.

We can't run,
we can't hide,
we're apart of the heads ride.
Heads take us on trips,
are responsbile for all out flips.
The conscience and the sub,
are a divided club.

The conscience mind we control,
the unconscience is on auto scroll.
It can run away with life,
have us suffering much misery & strife.
If we don't put on a lid,
we might end up dead.

Dead might be a release,
the only way to get some peace.
From a contaminated brain,
that only wants to drain.
The bodies worst than cupid,
it loves to follow the brains stupid.

Young brains are worse,
they really have the stupid curse.
The longer a heads been around,
it should become more sound.
But quite a few remain hollow,
almost anything they will follow.

Very interesting observations.
My head's been around pretty long--I sure hope it's sound by now, before it starts going the other way.
This was almost a rap. I enjoyed reading it.

Great thoughts coming from one who's head is in the right place, so to say. I agree with you, some grow up but remain hollow. Victor

You've covered just about everything here that the head can do or cannot do, One -- you're right, the longer a head has been around, it SHOULD become more sound, but it gets so doggone forgetful the older we get LOL. Your poetry is a pleasure to read.
Hugs,
CJ

I think you summed it up perfectly. The mind is a mixed bag that we all have to live with. Nicely done.

Brett
