Love & devotion has a flavor,
some never savor.
Savoring takes devotion,
followed up by motion.
Can't get proper satisfaction,
without truth in action.

God blesses the truly devoted,
in heaven they're duly noted.
Devotion to God,
before we return to sod.
Devotion to mate,
also to friends, family and others
it's best to devotingly relate.
Can't leave out country of residence,
even if desiring independence.

Devotion brings stability,
helps control hostility.
It's impossible to be happy,
treating everyone crappy.
Even when others crap,
love and devotion provides
a better nap.

I've become devoted to the den,
I come here
over and over again.
This is about the only place,
I use my pen.
There are many other,
but
I care not to bother.
