The price we pay,
each and every day,
for surviving and living,
loving and forgiving.
We need a very rich bank,
or maybe an iron clad tank,
just to make it,
and it's very hard to fake it.
I'm sick and tired of paying,
on a body anyway decaying.
Instead of decreasing,
the cost of living is increasing.
And the price doesn't always
have anything to do with money,
quite a few times it's
missing a face sunny.
My face of sun,
took off on the run.
I had money in my pocket,
an electric car in the socket.
I didn't even have to pay for gas,
when most of my joy came to pass.
I gave chase,
tyring to catch my sunny face.
No matter how fast I ran,
seems the devil had another plan.
I swore that if I ever caught it,
I'd forever bought it.
What the heck,
when I caught it
I wrote the check.
Stamped it paid in full,
the heck with the bull.

Gas? they don't pay for gas, you do it for them.
We are a Nation of schmucks holding the well heeled boats ofver the water while we try to hold our breath under water.
