Versing in the morning,
versing in the evening,
versing at supper time,
wouldn't hurt my feelings,
let the uni - verse sublime.
There are things much worse,
than having a verse curse.

Go ahead and brand me,
I'll give you more words
than your eyes can see.
Verse is great on sunny day,
even on rainy day pouring,
I'll be versing when I'm snoring.
Let it be no surprise,
talking is versing in disguise,
all it needs is to be organized.

There's verse in prayer,
even the holy man sayer.
Verse rules the bible,
helps keep us liable.
Might as well close down
the universe,
than to try and live
without verse.
