Who wants to depend on luck alone, when maybe there's a God sitting on his throne?
Somewhere there's a golden goose, he's running around loose. In the grass there's a four leaf clover, I've thought this thing over. Grab a horse and remove his shoe, don't walk around sad and blue.
God's greatest gift was the brain, used properly we have a lot to gain. On the other hand watchout for that truck, it just might change your luck. Grip that rabbit foot tight, especially when going into the night.
Sometimes we make our own luck, look both ways, watchout for that truck. Nothing wrong with a little praying, too see what God is saying. Look out into the universe, there's power to overcome that curse, at least prevent it from being worse.
One, I loved this one...you know the bible does teach us that we can lengthen or shorten our days...as you said..sometimes we make our own luck...weather it be good or bad! Our choices is what makes us or breaks us...enjoyed this cleverly written poem!
