Most of us get scammed, end up being devil hammed. It's just a part of life, adding to our misery and strife.

Everyday and especially on Christmas & new years,
the devil tries to mix his spam,
then prepare his deviled ham.
As ususally he tries to get me in the mix,
I'm just a man,
so apart of me falls for his tricks.
After all the years I've figured the fear,
he wants us to be afraid when he comes near.
So he gets his way,
but I try to make him earn his pay.

I don't fall for his fear,
so it's shake, rattle and roll while he's here.
New years eve my wife and I went to church,
the devil followed us all the way like a lurch.
There we both sat,
I knew exactly where the demon was at.
Outside the church door waiting,
afterwards he would continue his dictating.

New years 31st of  December,
will be a day I will always remember.
I didn't fully fall for the devils scam,
I don't feel bad,
every man eventually becomes part of his ham.
As long as we resist and fight,
the Lord will help makes things right.
