Thanks for the reminder but I am being myself, thank you! I can't be anyone else but me, like me or hate me, I'm OnepoetGem.

I never said
I had the world conquered
or on AD honored
I'm an AD poet
on the playground I show it
Everyday I do just that
swing my poetic bat
Chase the dog
run out the cat
try to vaporize the rat

I verse insecurities
not so sureties
I verse my meakness
show my weakness
I verse love and hate
on these I can't wait
I verse racism
all type catechism

Folks I'm being myself
trying to keep my
beast on the shelf
But I love a little
beast in my verse
it's just part of my curse
Momma was sweet and kind
Grandad and dad would
kick your behind
I'll do kick azz verse
and it might get worse

I give you fair warning
right after I quit yarning
even early in the morning
I might verse a nightmare
or a monster stare
My  verse might travel
also unravel

Any freaking stinking thing
on my mind and yours

This poem shows why poets like myself enjoy reading your work.Being yourself is the greatest thing that a person can become and feel.Always continue to write thought-provoking poetry because that is what makes you unique.Peace out
