The forces of good and evil exist, but with a twist, one will destroy the other, hopefully evil will lose.
On the American dollar
In God we trust
for many faith is a must
others follow sin and lust
Phony preachers vantage
many take advantage
Many are the sheep
praying their soul will keep
Hoping and praying
in a world decaying
Godly might exist
but seemly in a twist
The holy twist and shout
they have faith that
they know what God is about
About God
he created us from sod
He is the all mighty creator
understandably no dictator
Man will always be
his spectator
feeling the devil is
the eradicator

Well said, Grady. I wonder if it is not really man who is the Eradicator - but always blaming Government or Satan or God for the chaos. The older I get, the more I see Man as the most horrible predator this earth has ever seen. On that happy note, I love the way you structured this poem; you are becoming expert with couplets :-)
Well said, Grady...for all of us! We are at a time we need to be praying to God for our country, family/friends, and ourslves - the latter three being the oneses we can depend on...plus God!!
