Glad the mythologicals are gone
Zeus had a heart of stone
plus he use to romance earthlings
leaving Hera all alone
Of course she seeked revenge
wouldn't leave Hercules alone
Herc was Zeus half human offspring
his strength on earth almost
made him a king
then again almost nothing
being part man
still needing a good survival plan

Cupid was the god of love floating
high above with his arrows
humans chances resisting
sexual affectionate love narrows
yet big bird eagles still fly up high
looking down on sparrows
Sparrows became food of
the big bird soaring
Don't lay down humanoid the
Gods might catch you snoring

The world narrowed down to one God
and his son Jesus
no more many gods trying to please us
of course many still feel that God
is a myth trying to tease us
All at the same time the devil
moves to cease us
Santa Claus delivers toys on
the Christmas holiday
on Christmas day the little kids
unwrap their toys and play
