A country divided by disagreements
based on color of face and race
A black man elected in between
the mess suppose to be
commander and chief
A fraction backs his stay the others
wish he would go away
He'll soon be moving into the
white house of this divided country
He knows he's not accepted by
all or blessed for his call
This first black president will try
in his skillet his fish may fry
Being the presidential elect
performing a hard job so many
will reject
Our new commander and chief
a fraction white a fraction black
To the haters and racist the fraction
of black is no better than a thief

Yep, he has a hard act ahead of him. But, if he can manage to keep from being assassinated, Obama might get some long-overdue stuff straightened. Don't forget East Baltimore, Grady. This kid came all the way from Southside Chicago to the Oval Office. Underneath that big smile is a whole lot of street-tough. He may be really bad news for the racists and haters. Let's support him :-)
Nice write here. Imagine him in multicolor then refocus on yourself, perhaps the error here in most citizens is they expect their president to be Superman, and just sit and watch him solve everything. The Chinese work hard, the Japanese are frugal, the
Filipinos are resourceful, etc. and the rest of the world do their part.
Each has a job to do, and all talk without action accomplish nothing. Americans must work together and do their part in their own circles, there's no time.
Mr. Obama has a monumental task ahead of him. I do wish your president elect success as it is not only important for your country but for us (your neighbors to the north) and for the entire world. Thank you, Grady. Love and peace to you,
