Man hasn't found a cure for the common cold and flu.
Not a good time
of the year to be sick
This xmas I was
put in a trick
Got a bad cold
but I've got to keep hold
remain bold
Lot of good food to eat
but I've got to keep my seat
Remain inside
as this flu takes me
on its xmas ride
Wish I could have
missed the trip
but the germs
kissed my lip
A lover that won't
refuse no
it dominates the show
Then it rules throne
until completely gone
No matter how bad you want
it to leave you alone
It will still throw stone
Bless your heart, GEM, hope you feel better soon! Nothing worse than being sick over the holidays: bah, HUMbugs! Thank God, this year, for once, no cold, no flu! Whoo-hooooooo! Chicken soup. Okay?

Hope your cold gets better soon. Imagine that you are suffering from a cold, but you still write a lovely poem about it.
Oh, I heard that the x before -mas looks a lot like the Greek letter for I believe either God or Christ.

My only brother in Utah is sick too with a cold. Thank GOD Karla and I aren't sick; we usually are sick on Christmas!
