Today which will soon be old, judged by the stories told.
Certainly isn't sad and blue
or the bullchit of one or two
It might be a laugh or
a smile
since I hardly see any
for awhile
It certainly isn't no reviews
which isn't old news
Maybe we can travel to
the White house resident
There's a brand new
black president
This is new to me
since most fools judge us
by the face they see
2009 is new
and if you're the president you
might need a good security crew
Everything new becomes old
Even if it isn't bought or sold
I'm holding on to today
before it passes away
Of course everyday after
will be new
What's going to occur

A true write indeed my friend...for too many do judge by the face they see and don't allow time to get to know the person inside. You know the bible tells us that the Lord looks upon the heart of a man! We too should do the same, but we know that there will always be a large part of society who will never change! We should enjoy every day because once they're gone...there's no chance to do over what we should've already done! A wise write that rings with truth! Write on dear poet, enjoyed!
