they give nothing back
Their vacuum cleaners
are always running
Like the vampire bloodsucker
they drain others dry
it's not hard to figure why
They are takers until
the day they die
They'll take your love
still push and shove
They'll take your money
with hands stickier than honey
They'll rip away everything
give back nothing
Don't try to make them
see the error of their ways
Their bullchit stays
All they see is what pays
Beware of the handshake
the pat on the back
even a smiling face could be
the beginning of a takers attack

If I read anothers writing...and do not like their words, I would rather just not leave any comment. We never realize how un-kind words will make the writer feel. We are unsure if the other can take criticism...and unsure the outcomes of our review. I am not a writer..I do not feel I am qualified enough to critique others words in a negative manner. If I were to ask for someone to help me "make better" whatever I wrote...I would then be open and ready for critique. My mama said, If you cannot say something nice...then say nothing. Sometimes another may read a review left for the author...take personal offense as If it were written to them personally...and then it seems no way to correct the words. I wish kind words for everyone, great reviews.
Unfortunately, there are so many who would take a pat on the backs, rather than to take critiques truthfully. I'm an honest person, and when I give my honest opinions to some, it is because I find the work is worth an honest critique for improvement.
Now, that doesn't mean that I have put myself on a pedestal and think badly of another's writing. It is because I think the piece of writing is good, and with some honest humble opinion of my own, the piece of work can be written for the better.
Unfortunately, my honesty have not been taken to heart by some, and then I'm stabbed at again for fun.
I think if we need to grow and learn together, exchanging honesty in critiquing is a must. Otherwise, we could be here forever, and no good work can be found.
I don't mean my honest critiques are the best, but if only some authors would take me seriously and not to act defensively, then authorsden would be a much better place without all the backstabbing.
I might even offend a few now while writing this review to you; but I'm not here to stab at anyone, I'm just simply stating the facts to you on what's happening here in AD. I'm waving my white flag now - I surrender, and I'm out of everyone's way.
I know I can't keep my honesty to myself when I see someone's writing can be improved; and with my helping nature, I like to help others improve, I cannot keep my mouth shut. So in order to keep peace, I'm waving my white flag, and I'll be out of everyone's way.
It's the best way to be. I will not force others to like me. I have many other things to do anyway.

I love the analogy between the vampire and the vacuum cleaner. Yes, there are many "backstabbers" unfortunately. Wonderful write.
