If poets don't dive into, they might as well not ensue.

Poem Artwork

Us poets are so serious
some of us even get furious
causing others to get curious
A fraction of us become
legions in our own minds
Then we pull the blinds
Reviewers beware
you might get an intimidating stare

What we write
might just turn day to night
or night to day
Reader have it your way
not if the poet has his say
The viewer leaves the scene
the poets here to stay
that is if he doesn't go astray
Most of us like to poetically play

Doctors cure the body of illness
A duck hunter sits in stillness
waiting for his prey to arrive
The poet sits in thought
while his creativity jives
Verse becomes his dictator
he becomes his own spectator
In coming and out going
hoping he knows what he's doing
His verse just might end up
in the wind blowing
