the apple drink
made me think
A man hardly has a chance
at a decent life romance

God so loved the world
must be a warm day kiss
Jesus warmed life like this
Love is spoken of freely at times
followed by a cold day kiss that sublimes
I feel this chill
and it's not such a thrill
too much blood comes to spill
makes the heart and soul ill

A man must warm his face
in this coldhearted place
Learn the kiss of warm
before and after the big storm
whether he does or doesn't
come to harm
The only sure thing in this
cruel world is death
and for sure at times ill health
Life offers very little wealth
The cold kiss will not be stealth
