Some people and surprises
just seem to pop up
sometimes it's good but
other times corrupt
On the negative side we
wish the visit would end abrupt
On the positive side we wish
good people and surprises
would stay
especially to enhance our day
however we do have to deal
with the decay
no matter what anyone may say
Either way we may have to pay
This is the reason some of us pray

Praying or not
life still can get hot
Let the story be told
when things get too hot
we wish for cold
However most can still be
bought and sold
So many men go for the gold
others easily fold

Depending on what pops
up or down
a wise person or a clown
wearing a smile or a frown
Could be average or
wearing a crown
Either way
it will still affect our day
in a good or bad way
