A poem of thought, in which I got caught. I love my apple pie too.
Man still doesn't much
give a hoot
the apple should still be
a forbidden fruit
yet it is cooked to suit
We love our apple pie
taste good is the reason why
When it comes to our pie
what Adam did doesn't
even apply
The devil could knock on
the door
while the pie is being ate
we would ignore
Jesus died on the cross
today it is a symbol of our loss
Yet we won't give the
apple a toss
The apple should also be
a symbol of our loss
We should give it the toss
Of course it did come from
the tree of knowledge
all through the years it has
taken man to college
It seems man is hard to learn
The way he carries on
it seems he wants to burn
Everytime man gets a
wake up call
he seems to ignore it
It's almost like he wants to fall
One things for sure the devil
will always come to call
and he doesn't stall
He loves to see man crawl
I think our world will continue being shaken by storms, floods, quakes...etc., until we do finally wake up and let our hearts lead us to the Light. . .
