Do we reference Poe,


who's poems make us glo,


and feel so,


in the know.


Or do we reference each other,


 or even bother,


to reference at all,


 for it is purely in our own call.


Do we try to have fun,


or make fun,


or maybe take our chances at the shun. 


One poets junk,


maybe another persons treasure,


so how shall we measure?


Shall it be from pleasure?


 Or shall it be from whatever,


 or maybe never.

hehehehe...Grady, I have to say that Poe never made me glow...just cower a bit and dream of ladies dancing about in burial sheets to the tell tale beat of timeless hearts beneath the floor.
Your points in this verse are valid.
Go back to what you were doing...your style is your own.
If someone does not care for it...then they should not read it, least of all review it. Good work here.

whatever...you always get so deep and make the reader think...hey, different styles make everyone happy...mine is goofy and some are romantic...and others are self help stuff...my dad always said, "That's why they make vanilla and chocolate icecream...people have different tastes.." GOOD ONE...
