A weak lad,
frail and mad,
angry and sad,
knew he was had.
Life had him by the throat,
choking his air,
engulfing his weak soul,
ripping his weak heart.
Tired of his weakness,
he decided to do something
about his meekness.
He lifted heavy weights day and night,
ate the best nourishments of might.
Finally after the years past,
he became huge and strong at last.
Everyone admired his physical power,
Only one thing was still sour.
He forgot his mental state of mind,
while he was working on the outside,
the inside was still lacking.
With his large muscles,
he still had no confidence in mental tussles
Finally one day someone screamed,
"you're a big muscle bound dummy."
Of cousre it wasn't true ,
The comment was made out of jealousy.
So as the years past,
the muscle bound lad,
was still being had,
by his own mind.
One night as he was sleeping,
an Angel appeared unto him.
The Angel told him he had a good
heart and soul,
and shouldn't so easy fold.
As his guardian Angel faded,
and he awoke from the dream,
these words faintly faded into
the quietness of his mind,
"strength in mind takes work also,
drop your weights and build your
min min min minddddd!"
He jumped up in amazement,
screamed, "build my mind, how
do I build my mind?"
Having good common sense,
it didn't take long to figure.
He knew he had always been
too negative in his thinking.
Low in confidence,
lacking strong fortitude.
So he immediately started
working on his mental attitude.
He knew and heard others
speak of words of power,
like being strong positively,
having a tuff ego,
having strength in confidence.
He then told himself,
"that's it, no ones ever going
to hurt my feelings again in life.
He then packed his brain
with every word of power
he could find.
As the smoke of his metamorphosis
cleared,
he was finally ready to
face the world he feared.
Not only did he sport
a strong massive body,
he also sported a strong
massive mind,
incased in a suite of armor,
with a strong will,
to match his body of steel.
Note: the oriental philosophy emphasis is on
building strength from the inside out,
not the outside in.
A strong muscular body and a weak mind,
makes a bad combination,
in relation,
to our total equation,
and could cause
trouble in summation.
