Caught in the abyss trapped,
thought it was bad down here.
Discovered whole new world,
a world inside darkness.
Blindly I fumble around,
my vision is none,
yet my soul can eye.

Heart still pumping life,
even in darkness knowledge shines.
Adaptation or perish blind.
There is no light,
no sunrise for the sight.
No sunset ending a day.

Time is no time,
measurement in existence null.
Yet there is relaxation,
peace in no light see.

Above when there was sight,
blindness in mind took flight.
Darkness lurked in sun,
so the soul blind in the moon.
Knew better in heart,
still soul fell in abyss.

For now I rest in dark,
manuever with wisdom learned
in light. So If excavation,
a place where light is,
same mistake not made.
